Safety and privacy
Is my child's data safe?
Yes. We follow South Africa's POPIA regulations: no location data, no long-term audio storage, no social features, and no advertising SDKs for children under 13. Read the privacy policy.
Is MzansiAcademyKids really ad-free?
Yes, completely. No ad SDKs, no sponsored behavioural ads, ever — this is a permanent product commitment, not a limited-time promotion.
The product
What ages is this for?
MzansiAcademyKids is for children aged 2 to 10. Content runs from Preschool 2 (around age 2) upward, adapted to each child's grade level. Maths goes up to Grade 4; the other subjects currently go up to Grade 2, so older children get everything up to Grade 2 there while Grade 3 and 4 content is written.
Which languages are available right now?
Setswana is available today. isiZulu is being checked by a native speaker, Sepedi is next, then Xitsonga, Tshivenda, isiXhosa, Afrikaans, siSwati, isiNdebele and South African Sign Language. Every language is included in the same subscription. The Languages page shows each one's status.
I'm already a guardian — where do I get support in the app?
Open the app and go to More → Help centre for answers, or More → Contact support to email the team or report a problem. This page is for general or pre-signup questions.
Trial and billing
How does the free trial work?
Every new family gets a 15-day free trial with full access and no card required. After the trial, continuing requires a Pro subscription (R60/month or R600/year).
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel any time from Settings inside the app. Cancelling stops future renewal — you keep access until the end of your current paid period.
